Broccoli

Awww one of our favourites eh?  A diuretic vegetable, that brightens the eyes...n' you thought that was just carrots!  Excellent for nearsightedness and eye inflammation too.  Broccoli contains loads of pantothenic acid and vitamin A, which improves rough skin; and how about it has more vitamin C than citrus!

It's high in natural sulfur, iron and B vitamins, and if cooked very lightly, Broccoli will retain its chlorophyll content which will counteract gas formation resulting from its sulfur.

Caution: Broccoli has five goitrogenous chemicals which disrupt the body's ability to use iodine; so avoid in cases of thyroid deficiency and low iodine.
